Had the southern bell chicken and waffles. Pancakes were nice and fluffy and taste as if syrup was already on them. But not over doing the sweetness. Chicken was fried golden & delicious!

Didn't expect it but, Love Is Key was really brilliant. I don't want to leave because of the atmosphere. Every single thing was fresh, healthy, and very tasty. The team is extremely helpful as well. Live for it!

Yummy food and friendly service. Plus it feels great to support a locally owned small business especially during these trying COVID times.

Food That Touches The Heart

The DREAM started with my grandmother Daisy utilizing her gift of cooking to spread love and generosity to her family, church, and community. She aspired to having a restaurant of her own but never got the opportunity to turn her dream into a reality. The VISION began with my mother Tangela viewing her joy of baking as a vehicle for a better future not only for her own family but her community.

Our Values

Today's REALITY is that Love is Key is a combination of my grandmother's dream and mother's vision to spread love to our community through food and education in a trauma sensitive restaurant.
